Pako Tshiamala founded Blink Equity in 2021 to combat Anti-Black and systemic racism in the workplace. His goal was to work with companies who wanted to do their part in fighting racism but did not know exactly where to start.

In 2020 Pako co-founded the first Black Employee Resource Group in the Canadian Automotive industry in response to the George Floyd murder. The work done under this ERG scaled across 34, 000 employees across 5 continents and resulted in intentional equitable outcomes as it relates to Black Employees and diverse groups. This further inspired him to start industry-wide non-profit to increase representation of Black professionals in the automotive sector.

Today Pako continues to help public and private sector institutions create equitable and inclusive systems of diverse talent through holistic and evidence-based programming designed for sustainable and scalable impact.

Blink Equity leverages the relationships Pako has built through Pedla Consulting Group, a marketing and business development consultancy founded in 2009. To this end, Blink Equity has been leading change in the legal, technology, and internal development industries.
